"account": "Meta's Instagram has launched a desktop version of its video editing app, Edits, available for Mac users. With more than 50 million users, the app enables creators to produce more sophisticated videos than the mobile version allows. The desktop editor mirrors the mobile app's functionality, allowing users to combine clips, audio tracks, visual effects, and music. It also provides a full multi-track timeline, keyframes for dynamic transitions, precise audio waveforms, color grading tools, and dedicated keyboard shortcuts. Users can export their videos without watermarks and publish them directly to Instagram within the app. Meta, which launched Edits last year to challenge CapCut, another competitor, reports a significant surge in its user base. CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced during a recent earnings call that Edits boasts over 50 million active users. The company is actively developing further features, enabling seamless transitions between desktop and mobile editing sessions.",
