"account": "The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has outlined a straightforward process for Pakistani citizens seeking to change their current or permanent residential address on their Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC). In a video shared on its official social media, NADRA explained the required documentation and step-by-step procedure for citizens to follow at a NADRA Registration Centre.\n\nApplicants can update their residential address by presenting acceptable proof of residence, undergoing biometric verification, and paying the applicable CNIC modification fee. The process consists of six steps, starting with obtaining a token and concluding with the collection of an updated identity card.\n\nTo change their address, citizens need to provide one of the following documents: a CNIC of a blood relative displaying the desired address, residential property documents confirming the property at the requested address is registered in their name, or a utility bill in their name showing the requested address. The six-step procedure involves obtaining a token, completing biometric verification, updating the address in NADRA's records, obtaining approval from the office in-charge, paying the CNIC modification fee, and collecting the updated CNIC.\n\nThe fee for CNIC modification varies based on the type of CNIC and the processing category, with normal fees ranging from Rs. 400 to Rs. 750 and urgent fees ranging from Rs. 1,150 to Rs. 1,500.",
