"account": "The Joint List, a coalition of Arab political factions in Israel, has endorsed Gadi Eisenkot as their candidate to become the country's next prime minister. This endorsement puts Eisenkot ahead of incumbent Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who currently leads the bloc with 53 seats in the Knesset, Israel's parliament, which consists of 120 members. The Joint List plans to formally recommend Eisenkot to President Isaac Herzog for the task of forming the government during upcoming consultations. With the Joint List's support, Eisenkot would require the backing of more than half of the lawmakers to potentially form a coalition government.",
"summary": "With the Joint List’s backing, Eisenkot is set to receive recommendations from 67 members of the Knesset.",
