"account": "Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike has dismissed threats from the University of Abuja chapter of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) to go on strike due to the reallocation of land. Wike stated that ASUU has no authority over land ownership or allocation in the FCT, and that such matters are the responsibility of the Federal Capital Territory Administration. During a media chat, Wike questioned the union's involvement in the dispute and rejected its allegations of land grabbing. He also criticized the university for retaining thousands of hectares of land without proper development, emphasizing the government's duty to ensure appropriate land use and adherence to the FCT master plan. Wike stated that the decision to reallocate portions of the university's land is part of efforts to enforce urban planning regulations and promote development, and that the administration is prepared to defend its actions if legal action is taken.",
