"account": "Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike recently stated that Nigerians are well aware of the shortcomings of the presidential candidates from the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) and African Democratic Congress (ADC). Speaking during his monthly media chat in Abuja, Wike asserted that the NDC candidate, Peter Obi, has nothing to offer the Nigerian populace. He also claimed that the ADC candidate, Atiku Abubakar, did nothing when he was given the chance to lead.\n\nWike, a political scientist with over a decade of experience in the field, posed a question about the potential presidential runoff in 2027. He queried, \"Assuming there is a presidential runoff, it will be between Tinubu and who?\" Nigerians, he argued, know that Atiku and his associates were given opportunities but failed to deliver results. Moreover, Wike alleged that the former governor of Rivers State, Peter Obi, looted their state, and that Obi has nothing to offer the electorate.\n\nWhen questioned about the popularity of the All Progressive Congress (APC) candidate, Atiku's running mate, Sen. Atiku Kwankwaso, Wike acknowledged his popularity. However, he pointed out that Kano and other Northern states voted for the opposition in the 2023 elections. He concluded his remarks by emphasizing that Nigerians know that Atiku and Obi have nothing to offer in the 2027 presidential election.",
