"account": "Malaysia's Deputy Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, will address the Gaza conflict during the 2026 TRT World Forum in Istanbul. He highlighted Turkey's potential influence in resolving the Palestinian issue, as it holds diplomatic ties with Israel and can engage with both Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and U.S. President Donald Trump. Zahid emphasized Turkey's advanced defence technology and its NATO membership, which provide opportunities for Malaysia to acquire equipment and benefit from technology transfers. Furthermore, he announced that Universiti Kuala Lumpur, under his purview, would explore sending students to Turkey and inviting Turkish educators to conduct training at Malaysian institutions. The two nations have enjoyed diplomatic relations since 1964 and maintain strong ties in politics, economy, trade, and education, with bilateral trade standing at $5.6 billion, a target set to rise to $10 billion by 2030.",
