"account": "Delta State Police Commissioner, CP Samuel Etaifo Erale, has declared that Ezekiel Pius, the suspect arrested for allegedly defiling and raping a 15-year-old girl, is not a police officer. The incident occurred near Regal Clinic along Jakpa Road in Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area, Delta State. Police operatives from Effurun Area Command apprehended Pius, who posed as a fake Mobile Policeman on guard duty at a private school. The suspect allegedly victimized the girl multiple times, threatening her with death if she reported the matter. Pius's father became aware of the situation when his daughter confided in a friend, who then informed her parents. Delta CP Erale informed this through a WhatsApp message to a DAILY POST correspondent while on a tour of the state. The case has been forwarded to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) for a comprehensive investigation. Human rights activist Comrade Israel Joe has called for a transparent investigation into the matter, questioning how the suspect acquired weapons and police uniforms. Joe stated, \"Information available to me is that he isn't a real police officer.\"",
