"account": "Japan Football Association President Kozo Tashima has announced his candidacy for the FIFA presidency in the upcoming March election, according to a statement made to Sports Nippon on Thursday. Tashima, who leads the JFA, expressed gratitude for the full support of his organization as he prepares to challenge incumbent FIFA President Gianni Infantino. Infantino, who is currently seeking re-election, has encountered opposition since proposing the introduction of private investors into a new FIFA commercial entity that holds rights to various competitions, including the World Cup.\n\nTashima emphasized that his decision to run is not driven by a desire to win or lose, but rather to convey the honest, sound, and upright values that Japanese football has consistently upheld. He stated, \"FIFA needs now are these values that we have protected.\" Tashima's candidacy aims to communicate these principles to the global football community.
