"account": "Shah Alam: Aliff Daniel Adli, the 21-year-old who gained notoriety for engaging in rituals of another faith, has expressed regret and called upon those affected by his actions to return to the authentic teachings of Islam. In his statement of remorse, the Ahli Sunnah Wal Jamaah member admitted that his behavior was against Islam and its core principles, potentially inspiring actions inconsistent with Islamic teachings. Aliff acknowledged that his deeds might have insulted Islam and contradicted the purpose of Islamic laws. He recognized that his actions caused public unease and confusion, potentially threatening public order. Consequently, Aliff deeply regrets his actions and vows never to replicate them. He has vowed to return to the right path, deepen his understanding of Islam, and practice it based on solid knowledge. At the Istitabah (repentance) ceremony at the Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Mosque, Aliff, supported by his mother Rohizayanti Ramli and younger sister Nur Ranea Ezreen Adli, declared his repentance. The Selangor Islamic Religious Department (Jais) organized the ceremony.",
