"account": "In a ceremony at the Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Mosque in Shah Alam on November 5, a 21-year-old Muslim youth named Aliff Daniel Adli publicly repented for participating in Hindu rituals at the Batu Caves temple, which caused controversy. Accompanied by his mother, Rohizayanti Ramli, and younger sister, Nur Ranea Ezreen Adli, Aliff recited the Islamic declaration of faith, renouncing his previous actions and acknowledging he had violated Islamic principles. He vowed never to repeat the acts and committed to studying Islamic doctrine under qualified religious guidance. Both his mother and sister also made formal declarations of repentance, expressing regret for their inability to prevent his misstep. The Selangor Islamic Religious Council (MAIS) chairman, Datuk Salehuddin Saidin, confirmed the family's genuine repentance and vowed to ease community anger following the viral video clips. The Syariah Court has ordered Aliff to undergo three months of mandatory faith rehabilitation at a religious institution in Hulu Yam, Selangor, where he will receive structured Islamic instruction and long-term monitoring. Salehuddin expressed hope that Aliff's mother and sister would eventually attend regular classes at their neighborhood mosque and urged social media users to disavow any practices that run counter to Islamic teachings.",
