Cousins, who has had the opportunity to work with Morris at Washington and Atlanta, praised the coach's deep understanding of the game. In a statement shared by OurSF49ers on X, Cousins expressed his admiration for Morris, acknowledging his exceptional knowledge and leadership. He highlighted Morris's ability to comprehend the game from multiple perspectives and articulate the intricacies of football. Cousins also discussed the formidable challenge of facing the 49ers' defense, which features standout players such as linebacker Fred Warner, defensive linemen Nick Bosa and DeForest Buckner, and an aggressive secondary.
