The 31-year-old suspect was apprehended by Jogoo Road Police Station officers at DC Stage on a lead from locals who reported an individual extorting people while pretending to be a law enforcer. According to the police, Mwadime introduced himself as Sergeant Augustine Mjomba Mwadime, claiming to work at the GSU Training School in Embakasi. However, the officers' skepticism led to a search where they found items that seemed to back his fabricated identity. Police recovered a forged certificate of appointment with a fake service number, handcuffs, and two keys. These items were used to make his deceit appear genuine and to intimidate the public. Mwadime was taken into custody and is currently in police custody, awaiting arraignment in court.",
