"account": "US President Donald Trump defended Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth on Wednesday, despite Democrats gaining control of Congress in midterm elections, which were fueled by voter displeasure with the Iran war. When asked if he planned to replace Hegseth, Trump stated that he believes the Defense Secretary is performing admirably. This contrasted with former President George Bush, who dismissed Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld on the morning after the 2006 midterm elections, as discontent over the Iraq war helped Democrats secure a congressional majority.",
