The second G7 ministerial meeting of the year, set to convene on Monday and Tuesday in Marseille, will tackle critical global issues such as artificial intelligence (AI) and developments in the Middle East, following the G7 leaders' summit in June, the ministry reported. Korea has accepted an invitation from France, which currently presides over the G7, to attend the meeting in response to its involvement in the initial ministerial meeting in March. This participation aims to strengthen ties with G7 members and bolster Korea's reputation as a responsible global player, stated Park Doo-soon, a spokesperson for the ministry during a press briefing. During the meeting, Foreign Minister Cho intends to engage in bilateral discussions with his counterparts from the other participating nations to explore bilateral relations, collaborative efforts, and regional matters, the ministry further disclosed.",
