"account": "Nasarawa State Government has requested the Department of State Services (DSS) to investigate a disruption that occurred during Vice President Kashim Shettima's visit to the Emir of Lafia on Wednesday. The directive was outlined in a press release by the Secretary to the Government of Nasarawa State, Dr. Shuaibu Magaji Labaran. Shettima was in Lafia to represent President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at an APC Presidential Campaign Rally ahead of the 2027 General Elections. The state government expressed regret over the disrespectful behavior of some youths, who were reportedly linked to high-ranking individuals such as Senator Umaru Tanko Al-Makura and former IGP Muhammad Abubakar Adamu. The government strongly condemned the act, which they claim was carried out to tarnish the image of the government and the people of Nasarawa State. The DSS has been instructed to conduct a thorough investigation to identify the causes, perpetrators, and sponsors of the incident, with the goal of holding them accountable. The government urged citizens to remain law-abiding and carry out their daily activities peacefully.",
