"account": "Martin Coulter, the founder behind language learning platform Memrise, has secured £2.5m in funding for a new AI startup called Mindmax. Unlike traditional AI applications that outsource human cognitive abilities, Mindmax aims to help individuals enhance their own mental capabilities. Coulter is the news editor for Sifted, a source based in London, where he covers startup news across Europe. Recent research has found that popular apps often expose sensitive user data, including passport numbers, private messages, and financial records. London continues to be recognized as the best location in the world for launching an AI company, thanks to its unparalleled cross-pollination of ideas, cultures, expertise, and experience. However, talent remains the top concern for European AI startups, as funding pressures mount. According to Sifted's AI 100 survey, funding has become the most pressing concern for these companies, with many considering a move to the US.",
