Nadal, who has claimed 22 Grand Slam titles, two Olympic gold medals, and helped Spain win five Davis Cups, announced his decision to accept the offer with enthusiasm. The 40-year-old will need approval from Real Madrid members during an upcoming meeting. In a statement, the club praised Nadal as one of the greatest legends in sports history and recognized him as a benchmark for Spanish and world sport. Nadal, a lifelong fan of Real Madrid, expressed his excitement and eagerness to contribute to the club's future. The tennis legend, who wears the number 67,778 as a member of the club, thanked President Florentino Perez and the board for the opportunity. It remains uncertain what specific responsibilities Nadal will assume on the board, but Real Madrid's re-elected president, Florentino Perez, has already appointed Jose Mourinho for a second term as head coach.
