"account": "Jason Kanzler, the 19th full-time manager in Seattle Mariners history, is set to take the reins as the team's new manager. Prior to this, he had an unconventional journey, considering medical school after being a walk-on star in college and later teaching high school physics and chemistry. Kanzler, who was most recently the director of player development with the Chicago Cubs, joined the Chicago Cubs' minor league system in 2024 and has been on Seattle's radar since 2021. Seattle's general manager, Justin Hollander, highlighted Kanzler's dynamic personality and analytics-forward coaching background as key factors in his selection. Kanzler, who had previously worked with the Houston Astros, has been impressed by the electric atmosphere at T-Mobile Park, a factor he hopes to replicate with the Mariners.",
