"account": "In a recent development for DC Studios, plans are underway to bring the beloved comic character John Constantine to the big screen in the form of a new horror film. The project, currently in development, will be directed by Francis Galluppi, known for his work on the seventh \"Evil Dead\" movie, \"Evil Dead Wrath.\" This film comes following the success of \"Clayface,\" a horror film with a moderate budget that opened to a strong worldwide box office start of $43 million.\n\nJohn Constantine, a paranormal investigator first introduced in 1985's \"Swamp Thing #37\" created by Alan Moore, Stephen R. Bissette and John Totleben, has been a fan favorite since his debut. He first appeared under his own title, initially known as \"Hellblazer,\" and has since been portrayed by various actors, including Keanu Reeves in the 2005 film \"Constantine\" and Matt Ryan in the NBC series \"Constantine.\" The character has also made appearances in the DC superhero TV universe, notably on \"Legends of Tomorrow.\"\n\nWith its unique blend of horror and supernatural elements, the new Constantine film promises to add another genre to the diverse lineup of DC Studios films, alongside major blockbusters like the upcoming \"Superman\" (2025) and its 2027 sequel \"Man of Tomorrow.\"",
