"account": "Hanwha Aerospace has initiated construction of a new factory in Poland to manufacture guided missiles for its Chunmoo multiple rocket launcher, marking a significant expansion of its defense partnership with the country. On Wednesday, the Korean defense firm held a groundbreaking ceremony in Gorzow Wielkopolski, western Poland, for a facility that will be operated by Hanwha WB Advanced Systems, a joint venture with the Polish defense company WB Group. This marks Hanwha Aerospace's first guided missile production facility outside of Korea.\n\nThe plant will span approximately 1.16 million square meters and is scheduled for completion by 2028. It is designed to produce the CGR-080, a missile capable of reaching a range of around 80 kilometers, specifically for the Homar-K, the Polish adaptation of the truck-mounted Chunmoo. Upon the successful completion of technology transfer, testing, and certification processes, the venture anticipates initiating initial production by late 2029, with full-scale production commencing in 2030.\n\nThis initiative is anticipated to generate more than 200 employment opportunities and to procure components from local suppliers.",
