"account": "A six-year-old boy who was discovered unconscious in a retention pond near his home in Kulai, Johor, has tragically drowned, according to police. The incident occurred on a Sunday at approximately 10am. The victim's parents had left for work at around 6:30am, leaving him and his 17-year-old sister asleep. According to police, an acquaintance alerted the boy's mother to his unconscious state near the pond, which is about 50 meters from their residence. A fishing rod was recovered near the scene, suggesting the boy may have been fishing. Upon arriving at the scene, firefighters and medical personnel pronounced the boy dead at 11:15am. Post-mortem examinations confirmed drowning as the cause of death, and the police have ruled out foul play, classifying the incident as a sudden death. Police are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the tragedy. In light of the incident, Tan Seng Lee, the Kulai district police chief, has advised parents and guardians to closely monitor their children and ensure they do not engage in potentially dangerous activities near ponds, rivers, or other bodies of water without adult supervision.",
