"account": "Pixar Animation Studios, a division of Disney, announced on Wednesday that veteran Jonathan Garson will assume the role of president on January 4, 2024, succeeding Jim Morris. Morris will transition to a president emeritus position and continue involvement with upcoming projects, including Pixar's third installment of The Incredibles. The leadership change is aimed at bringing a fresh perspective to the studio's operations and production. Garson, who has been with Pixar since 2010 and Disney for over three decades, will oversee production and day-to-day management, while Chief Creative Officer Pete Docter retains creative control over the studio's films. Pixar's feature films have collectively earned over $12 billion globally during Morris' tenure, which spanned 12 years. The animation studio has a lineup of upcoming releases, including Gato in March 2027, Ghost Market in March 2028, and The Incredibles 3 in June 2028.",
