"account": "The 2028 race for the US presidency has taken a dramatic turn following the Democrats' stunning victory in the recent midterms. President Donald Trump's defeat has upended the political landscape, particularly for Vice-President JD Vance, who was once considered the frontrunner but now faces the challenge of distancing himself from his unpopular predecessor. The collapse of the MAGA coalition that propelled Trump to power has left Republicans with a significant challenge to overcome in their quest to replace him.\n\nFor Democrats, the midterms have provided a boost to rising stars such as Georgia Senator Jon Ossoff, whose youthful appeal has drawn comparisons to former President Barack Obama. Ossoff's re-election as a Georgia senator has fueled speculation about a potential 2028 run, although he has dismissed the idea. Other potential Democratic candidates include Vice-President Kamala Harris, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, Texas Senator Ted Cruz, and California Governor Gavin Newsom. The Democratic field remains crowded, but the midterms have given some likely candidates a much-needed boost.",
