"account": "German politician Hubert Aiwanger, 55, was found dead in his hotel room in Berlin-Mitte district, police announced on November 5. The cause of his death has not been determined yet. Police and prosecutors have launched an investigation to ascertain the specific cause and circumstances surrounding his death and to rule out any involvement of third parties. Aiwanger, the deputy leader of southern Bavaria state and head of the Free Voters party, was due to attend the opening of his party's office in Berlin but had missed the event as he was feeling unwell. Bavarian state premier Markus Soeder described the politician's death as an \"absolute tragedy\" and expressed his condolences to Aiwanger's family and children. The Free Voters party, which was a junior partner in the regional Bavarian government led by Soeder's Christian Social Union (CSU), had benefited from Aiwanger's leadership, as the party entered the state government for the first time in 2018. In 2023, Aiwanger faced national controversy when Nazi pamphlets were found in his schoolbag from his teenage years in the late 1980s; he apologized for the incident but refused to resign. Aiwanger was survived by two children and had been living with his partner.",
