"summary": "Michigan Senator-elect Abdul El-Sayed has endorsed President Donald Trump's plan to end US military aid to Israel, stating that he agrees with the president's approach. In an interview with NPR, El-Sayed expressed his support for Trump's policy, adding that he would also like to see the US stop selling weaponry to Israel that contributes to genocide and apartheid. The senator-elect further suggested a broader review of US military support for other countries, including Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and Pakistan, arguing that American taxpayer dollars should be spent domestically instead. Trump announced his agreement with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to cut approximately $4 billion in annual US military aid to Israel by December 2026, though the details of the agreement remain unclear.",
