"account": "Dubai - After concluding her third WNBA season, Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark is adding another feather to her cap with the release of a children's book. The 24-year-old announced the project via her agency, Excel Basketball, on social media platform X. The news was later shared by Clark herself. The project, titled 'EXTRAordinary! A Little EXTRA to Reach BIG Dreams', is slated for release on November 3 by Random House Books for Young Readers. This marks Clark's debut as an author, with the book illustrated by Adriana Predoi.\n\nThe rhyming picture book draws inspiration from a motivational phrase that hung above Clark's childhood bedroom mirror: “The difference between ordinary and extraordinary is the little EXTRA.” The narrative emphasizes the role of family, friends, and teammates in aiding children to chase their aspirations. Excel Basketball praised the release, stating: “Adding author to her resume @CaitlinClark22’s new children’s book ‘EXTRAordinary! A Little EXTRA to Reach BIG Dreams’ speaks to the importance of family, friends, and teamwork!”\n\nClark's literary venture follows another significant milestone in September, when Nike unveiled her first signature basketball shoe, the Caitlin 1. The shoe was globally released on October 1. On the court, Clark had a strong comeback campaign in 2026 following an injury-plagued 2025 season. She averaged 22.3 points and 8.3 assists, being named to the AP All-WNBA First Team and awarded the Comeback Player of the Year. Nevertheless, the Fever were eliminated in the first round of the playoffs.",
