"account": "Former Super Eagles striker Victor Anichebe is reportedly in the early stages of discussions to purchase English League One club Bromley, potentially marking his first major venture into football club ownership. According to talkSPORT, the 38-year-old is leading a group of wealthy African investors in negotiations with Bromley's current owner, Robin Stanton-Gleaves. Both parties are reportedly working towards reaching an agreement, with the proposed takeover coming at a difficult time for Bromley, who are currently struggling in their inaugural League One season following successive promotions from lower divisions. Anichebe's potential takeover could inject new investment and a fresh direction for the South London club as it seeks to improve its position. The former Everton striker has expressed an interest in sports investment since retiring from professional football in 2018, founding the Lumira Group, an investment company with diverse interests in the UK. This proposed acquisition follows a previous unsuccessful attempt by Anichebe to acquire non-league club Gateshead last year. Anichebe's playing career included stints in the Premier League, where he scored 27 goals and provided 12 assists, as well as 11 appearances for Nigeria's national team.",
