"account": "Real Madrid is poised to add tennis legend Rafael Nadal to their board of directors, according to a statement released on Wednesday. Nadal, a 22-time Grand Slam winner, has been an honorary member of the club since 2011 and shares a close bond with the club's president, Florentino Perez. In a statement, Real Madrid expressed pride in Nadal's selection, noting that his appointment would bring a benchmark of Spanish and world sport to their board of directors. The club's socios, or members, are set to vote on Nadal's appointment at their general assembly on November 21. Nadal, 40, expressed his excitement at the prospect of joining Real Madrid, stating that he is eager to learn and contribute to the club. Nadal, known as the \"King of Clay,\" has won a record 14 French Open singles titles. In 2023, Nadal mentioned his ambition to become the Madrid president, but later clarified that he was not qualified for the role. Despite reports of him running for the presidency before club elections this year, Nadal distanced himself from those rumors.",
