"account": "A former NFL quarterback, Russell Wilson, is reported to be in the process of interviewing for a head coaching position, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Wilson, who played for the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2024, is said to have sat down for an interview with North Carolina State University. The source, Schefter, shared the news on his X platform.\n\nDespite not having any prior coaching experience, Wilson's connection to the university, having played for them from 2008 to 2010, is a significant factor. During his time with the NC State Wolfpack, Wilson threw for an impressive 8,545 yards and 76 touchdowns.\n\nHowever, Wilson's chances of securing the job are challenging, considering the strong competition from fellow North Carolina State alumnus and NFL legend Philip Rivers. Rivers brings a considerable edge to the table with his extensive coaching experience.\n\nFor the latest updates on the Steelers, including any roster changes or injury reports, fans are advised to follow The Steelers Wire on X and like their Facebook page.",
