"summary": "The Senate has passed the Agricultural Revolution Bill, 2026, for second reading, providing a comprehensive legal framework for modernising Nigeria's agricultural sector. Sponsored by Senator Barau I. Jibrin, the bill aims to improve food security, mechanisation, irrigation, agricultural financing, agro-industrialisation, and climate-resilient farming. The bill was initially reconsidered due to concerns about its drafting and circulation, but it passed after a debate led by Jibrin, who emphasised the need for a collaborative approach to national development and the transformative potential of the proposed legislation.",
