"account": "On April 5, 2026, Cleveland Cavaliers announced they are set to sign Norchad Omier to a two-way contract, according to Hoop Hype's Michael Scotto. The 6'5\", 25-year-old forward, whose last season was with the G League's Charge, had previously been linked with the Minnesota Timberwolves but switched his allegiance to the Cavaliers. This unexpected move creates additional depth for the Cavaliers' roster. Omier, who had a breakout season with the Charge in 2025-2026, averaging 20 points, 11.9 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game over 20 regular-season games. The Cavaliers' two-way players - Tristan Enaruna, Riley Minix, and Ernest Udeh Jr - have yet to be confirmed for potential waivers to facilitate Omier's arrival.",
