"account": "The renowned tennis player Rafael Nadal is set to join Real Madrid's board of directors, the club announced on Wednesday. Nadal, who has won 22 Grand Slam titles, has been an honorary member of Real Madrid since 2011 and shares a close bond with club president Florentino Perez. In a statement, Real Madrid expressed immense pride at the prospect of a sporting and human figure of Nadal's caliber becoming part of their board of directors, contributing to the club's present and future. The club's socios, or members, are expected to confirm Nadal's appointment at their general assembly on November 21. Nadal, 40, has a remarkable career, having won a record 14 French Open singles titles. In 2023, Nadal expressed a desire to eventually become Madrid's president, though he acknowledged his lack of qualification for the role. Following club elections this year, Nadal reportedly distanced himself from reports suggesting he would stand as a candidate. Perez was elected as Madrid's president in June, defeating Enrique Riquelme.",
