"account": "Google Photos is reportedly developing a new feature to better organize RAW photos in its app. The feature would include a dedicated \"RAW images\" section within the app's Collections tab, allowing users to easily access all RAW images they have backed up. While this functionality does not exist currently, it has been identified by testers through some reverse engineering. The majority of modern Android devices come equipped with the ability to capture RAW photos, which offer superior image quality and greater editing flexibility. However, RAW files typically consume significantly more storage space compared to standard JPEG images, potentially exhausting the allocated Google account storage. Additionally, locating RAW photos within the Google Photos interface can be cumbersome, making it inconvenient for users who wish to edit them later. By introducing a dedicated RAW images section, Google appears to be addressing these two key issues: optimizing storage utilization and streamlining the editing workflow for RAW photos. Authority Insights has obtained exclusive information about this upcoming enhancement, providing Android enthusiasts with valuable insights into Google's ongoing efforts to improve its photo management capabilities.",
