"account": "In Ibadan's Olodo area, Oyo State Police Command arrested two suspects in connection with the murder of 26-year-old Kehinde Asimiyu. The incident occurred on November 1, 2026, at Olodo Garage, after a fatal altercation involving Taiwo Babarinde, who is accused of stabbing Asimiyu with a broken bottle. The deceased's family learned of the attack when a motorcycle rider informed them. The suspects, Babarinde and Ishola Semiu, are currently in police custody, and their case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department for further investigation. The attack triggered unrest at the Olodo Police Outpost, leading to additional security measures, including deployment of the Nigerian Army, Amotekun Corps, and NSCDC personnel.
