"account": "In Melaka, Pakatan Harapan candidate Esma Eazreen Husin is carrying the memories of her two children who tragically died in a road accident in January 2023. Her son Hijjaz Kasturi Ramli was 19 and her daughter Nurul Fatihah Ramli was 21. Both children were passionate about community and political activities, often accompanying Esma to programmes and events. Esma, now 45, often wonders what they would have thought of joining her on the campaign trail if they were still alive. Her eldest daughter, Nurul Fatihah, was the first to volunteer to join her at any programme around the state constituency. The loss of her two children has significantly changed Esma's life, with their memories surfacing regularly in her daily routine. To cope with her grief, Esma has kept herself busy with community and party activities, which also allow her to hear directly about the problems and needs of the people. She continues to treasure photographs of her children casting their first votes in the 2021 Melaka election, as they serve as a reminder of that moment and provide her with strength to continue campaigning and meeting voters. Despite her personal loss, Esma is now focused on addressing the issues of water supply problems in Kampung Seri Kesang and Felda Kemendor if elected, contesting against incumbent Rim assemblyman Datuk Khaidhirah Abu Zahar of Barisan Nasional.",
