"account": "Miami sits atop the College Football Playoff rankings (No. 1), while Notre Dame is in the 11th spot. This Saturday, the two rivals face off in a high-stakes home game for Miami. Miami is one of just three undefeated teams in the Football Bowl Subdivision, while Notre Dame is 7-1. Miami and Notre Dame were both in the top five of the Associated Press poll before Saturday's matchup, but the initial College Football Playoff rankings released Tuesday night elevated Miami's standing and dropped Notre Dame's. The CFP selection committee sees Notre Dame's performance both offensively and defensively as impressive, but their schedule remains weak as they have not faced a ranked opponent since beating BYU. Notre Dame has only one signature win against a ranked team this season, while Miami leads the nation in scoring margin against FBS opponents and is favored to win by six points. A Notre Dame victory would secure their spot in the 12-team playoff, but a loss could cost them a spot due to their weak schedule.",
"summary": "Miami is No. 1 and Notre Dame is No. 11 in the CFP rankings. The Irish need to defeat the Hurricanes Saturday to be in position for a spot in the 12-team CFP field.",
