"account": "The SteelSeries Rival Pro claims to push the boundaries of gaming mouse capabilities. Despite the impressive specifications, the real question is how well it performs in actual use. After extensive testing, this review offers an evaluation of the mouse's performance and whether it justifies its price point of $179.99 / £169.99 (approximately AU$250).\n\nFirstly, the mouse's comfort level is noteworthy. It offers a comfortable grip suitable for a variety of hand styles, with a lightweight design that allows for swift, precise movements. The mouse's matte finish, available in black or white, provides a pleasant tactile experience and is easy to clean, aside from the minor issue of showing fingerprints.\n\nIn terms of performance, the Rival Pro excels. It utilizes an interference-free 'true' 8K polling rate, along with SuperSync technology that allows for independent control of tracking and clicking rates. The mouse's 42,000 DPI sensitivity provides exceptional precision, which was evident during gameplay on the LG UltraGear 25G590B 1000Hz gaming monitor. The high-quality optical switches, described as mechanically satisfying, contribute to the mouse's overall performance, although their audible noise might not appeal to everyone.\n\nThe Rival Pro offers a comprehensive feature set, including a customizable app for bindings, sensitivity, polling rate, and power management. The 'infinite power system', featuring hot-swappable batteries and a charging base station, eliminates the need for a wired connection and ensures uninterrupted gameplay. Despite its premium price, the Rival Pro delivers exceptional performance and endless battery life, making it a strong contender for serious gamers and enthusiasts seeking top-tier performance.",
