"account": "Libya's top religious authority, the Dar al-Ifta based in Tripoli, has issued a ruling against Muslims purchasing, selling or wearing clothing featuring the Nike logo. The ruling claims Nike, named after the Greek goddess of victory and inspired by her wings, promotes polytheism. The religious committee accused the company of backing Israel and called for a boycott of Israeli-supporting Western companies. Dar al-Ifta's Grand Mufti, Sadiq al-Gharyani, approved the fatwa, but the ruling does not ban Nike products or specify penalties for continued use. Social media reactions were mixed. Nike does not have an official store in Libya, but local retailers sell Nike-branded products.",
