"account": "Prison officials in Kannur Central Jail confiscated a mobile phone and associated items, such as power banks, chargers, and data cables, during a search on Monday. These prohibited items were discovered concealed beneath stone slabs located behind the jail's second block. The Town police, alerted by a complaint from Joint Superintendent A. Shaiju, have initiated an investigation.\n\nThe repeated discovery of unauthorized items within the jail complex has sparked concerns about the effectiveness of security measures. It is believed that lax inspections of food and cooking materials brought into the prison may be enabling the smuggling of such prohibited articles.",
