"account": "Netflix has given the green light for a coming-of-age drama series titled \"Prep,\" based on Curtis Sittenfeld's debut novel of the same name. The series will follow scholarship student Lee Fiora's high school years at Ault, a prestigious New England boarding school, as she adapts to life among her privileged classmates. \"Prep\" is showrunner, writer, and executive producer Nicole Taylor's all-time favorite novel, which she found uncannily reflective of her own introspective, bookish self-conscious adolescent self. Taylor previously created Netflix's dramedy mini-series \"One Day\" and wrote on the limited series \"Three Girls.\" The series will join Netflix's growing slate of YA titles, including \"Crew Girl,\" \"A Different World,\" and \"Outer Banks.\" \"Prep\" will also be part of Netflix's expanding collection of book adaptations, which include \"Walter Boys\" and \"To All the Boys I've Loved Before.\" Sittenfeld and Gloria Sanchez have been instrumental in guiding the project forward, and Taylor's adaptation has provided Sittenfeld with a deeper understanding of her own novel. Will Ferrell, Jessica Elbaum, and Alix Taylor are set to executive produce the show for Gloria Sanchez Productions.",
