"account": "Nollywood actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele revealed that her film 'Everybody Loves Jenifa' is her most expensive production. The cost of filming in Ghana and Nigeria, as well as transporting the cast and crew between the two countries, contributed to the hefty budget. During an interview with CNN Africa, Akindele discussed the challenges and triumphs of her filmmaking career, revealing that the drama-comedy, which was released in Nigerian cinemas on December 13, 2024, became one of the highest-grossing films in the country's box office history. The film, which follows Jenifa as she strives to maintain her charitable activities amid competition from a new neighbor, successfully performed both in cinemas and on streaming platforms, although Akindele did not disclose the exact production budget or profits from digital distribution.",
