"account": "Abdul El-Sayed, the 42-year-old candidate for a U.S. Senate seat in Michigan, faces the pressure of potentially becoming the first Muslim senator in U.S. history. His opponent, Donald Trump, is trying to portray El-Sayed as a threat to the country and has accused him of having ties to the Muslim Brotherhood. Trump has even called El-Sayed a \"radical Islamist\" and falsely claimed he targeted Americans’ finances and democratic values. El-Sayed, who was born and raised in Michigan, emphasizes that his name and faith are not responsible for the current issues in the country. He has faced controversy within his own Democratic Party, notably parting ways with fellow candidate Haley Stevens over the issue of Israel, where Stevens criticized El-Sayed’s stance. The race between El-Sayed and Republican Mike Rogers is tight, and the outcome could significantly impact Michigan's political landscape.",
"summary": "Abdul El-Sayed ist charismatisch – und Muslim. Von Trump wird der Kandidat der Demokraten diffamiert. Doch auch in der eigenen Partei ist er umstritten. Kurz vor der Wahl kommt es zum Eklat.",
