"account": "George Quaye, a graduate of Mfantsipim School with a background in events architecture, communications, PR, broadcasting, and creative entrepreneurship, has been honored with the Distinguished Alumnus Award for Arts and Cultural Excellence at the school's 150th anniversary ceremony. Quaye was the only nominee in the category and won the award unexpectedly, as he had arrived at the event as the master of ceremonies, unaware that he had been nominated.\n\nMfantsipim, established in 1876 by the Methodist Church and Ghana's first secondary school, is renowned for producing leaders, thinkers, and trailblazers. The school's motto, Dwen Hwe Kan, translates to 'Think and Look Ahead.' At the annual awards night, which celebrated the school's legacy, Quaye was presented with the award, an honor he described as both humbling and philosophical. He emphasized the importance of dedicating oneself to consistent work, as it eventually bears fruit.\n\nQuaye dedicated the award to his late brother and friend, Fred Akowuah, who inspired his passion for the arts. The award ceremony was part of a year-long celebration marking 150 years since Mfantsipim School's founding. Other prominent winners included Frank Ivan Adama Tackie, Alex Dade, the KGL Group, the Multimedia Group, and Geddy Laryea.",
