"summary": "Hong Kong's educational institutions have once again excelled, with five universities ranking within the top 10 in the QS Asia University Rankings 2027. The University of Hong Kong (HKU) maintained its top position, while City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK) achieved a significant leap, moving up to fourth place, and the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) climbed to fifth. The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) shared ninth place. These rankings, compiled by QS, evaluated over 1,700 universities across 26 higher education systems. Ben Sowter, QS's senior vice-president, highlighted Hong Kong's continued dominance in university performance in Asia, attributing it to increasing international engagement and growing recognition. HKU's president, Xiang Zhang, emphasized the university's commitment to academic excellence and its role in shaping an international hub for education and innovation.",
