"summary": "The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has launched its \"Yegyeyɛ sika\" demonstration in Accra, Ghana, demanding a refund from Foreign Affairs Minister Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa over funds spent on the evacuation of Ghanaians from South Africa. Protesters gathered at Villaggio and are expected to march to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and subsequently to Jubilee House, targeting Ablakwa for his role in the controversial evacuation exercise. The NPP is calling for investigations into the expenditure, requesting the publication of invoices, contracts, and passenger manifests to verify the reported evacuation of 1,964 Ghanaians. They also seek an independent audit of the total expenditure and the prosecution of any officials found culpable. The protest reflects a growing public demand for transparency in government spending and has sparked interest in the accountability of officials involved in the evacuation process.",
