Her media aide, Mike Idoko, shared the news in a statement on Tuesday, November 2, 2026. The senator visited OCSS Oboroke, Adavi Model Secondary School, Adavi Eba, and Community Secondary School, Obangede, where she emphasized the importance of digital learning and improved access to educational resources for students.\n\nAkpoti-Uduaghan stated, \"For me, the essence of representation is not simply to occupy an office or make speeches in the chambers of the National Assembly. It is about making a difference in the lives of the people who entrusted us with their mandate.\" She added, \"Education remains one of the most important investments we can make in the future of our society. These smart devices are not merely computers; they are instruments of opportunity, learning, innovation and empowerment.\"\n\nThe senator urged students to utilize the laptops effectively, embrace digital literacy, and remain committed to their studies. She also called on teachers and school administrators to ensure proper maintenance and use of the devices for educational purposes. Akpoti-Uduaghan, who was elected to represent Kogi Central in the 10th National Assembly, has been actively involved in various constituency development efforts, including education, healthcare, infrastructure, agriculture, youth empowerment, and economic development.\n\nDuring the visit to Community Secondary School, Obangede, the school's Chairman, Dr. Shehu Sule, praised the senator for her outstanding leadership and commitment to education and human capital development.
