The German tennis star achieved this historic milestone after defeating Tallon Griekspoor in Vienna and was confirmed as the top-ranked player on Monday. Rafael Nadal, who mentored Zverev at the Rafa Nadal Academy last year, congratulated him on his achievement, expressing pride in his hard work and determination. Other notable tennis stars, including Jannik Sinner, Pete Sampras, and previous world number one Marcelo Melo, also congratulated Zverev on his well-deserved success.
