"account": "Afreximbank has granted Veenocks Limited an $81.9 million loan to expand its porcelain tile manufacturing plant in Sagamu, Ogun State. The loan, disclosed on November 2, is expected to triple the factory's annual production capacity, increasing it from 3.3 million to 9.9 million square meters. The $145 million expansion project is projected to create 300 direct jobs. Afreximbank's Executive Vice President for Intra-African Trade and Export Development, Mrs. Kanayo Awani, noted that the $2 million Project Preparation Facility, previously provided to Veenocks, has been fully repaid, making the funds available for other initiatives. The loan will facilitate the factory expansion and enable the company to meet domestic demand and serve markets in eight African countries, including Togo, Benin, Burkina Faso, Niger, Cameroon, Ghana, Mauritania, and Senegal. This expansion is in line with Nigeria's push for increased local production of building materials, as restrictions on foreign exchange imports have encouraged local tile manufacturers.",
