Accused of stealing a Patek Philippe watch worth S$73,000 and over S$8,000 in cash, Tey used the stolen items to repay some of her unauthorized credit card purchases and fund her personal expenses. In September 2024, Lim entrusted Tey with the safe's combination after her personal assistant resigned. Between November 2024 and June 2025, Tey stole the items while Lim was away. She also misused a company credit card for personal spending, making eight unauthorized purchases totaling S$19,191.12 at Bai Gong Premium Club and House Singapore.
