"account": "A 35-year-old man, Muhammad Iskandar Sentot, was charged in Pengerang Magistrate's Court with the murder of a 68-year-old Felda settler, Mohd Ariff Md Yusoff, in Lok Heng Selatan last month. The accused nodded in understanding after the charge was read to him. No plea was entered as murder cases are handled by the High Court. The alleged crime occurred at 7.20pm on October 26th, when the suspect hacked the victim to death with an axe in front of a house at No. 90, Block 2, Jalan Bersatu, Felda Lok Heng Selatan. He was arrested the day after the murder at an oil palm plantation within the Felda settlement. The suspect has six previous criminal and drug-related convictions. The motive for the killing is still under investigation. The court denied bail and set a date of January 7th for the next hearing pending the submission of various reports, including chemical, pathology, DNA, mental health, and post-mortem reports. Deputy public prosecutor Muhammad Nursyafiq Abd Halim prosecuted the case, while the accused was unrepresented.",
